If you are from either country and made an order in recent months, we have likely already refunded your order in full and will not be accepting future orders until the situation changes. As of 22 June 2022, restrictions on orders to Australia were lifted and as of 20 July 2022 restrictions on orders to New Zealand were also lifted. On 11 February 2022, we suspended deliveries to Australia and New Zealand due to restrictions shipping from the US to these countries. We are truly sorry for this inconvenience and we hope the situation will improve, but for the forseeable future this situation remains unchanged.
We only became properly aware of this because as of January 24th 2021, the United States Postal Service added a new mandatory field to its international shipping labels requiring such a VAT ID for parcel deliveries to the UK. As a result of this change, the UK is no longer part of the EU's single market and customs union meaning new rules apply to parcels arriving to the UK from non-EU countries - in our case overseas sellers are now required to apply for a UK VAT ID from the HMRC. As of 28 January 2021, we have suspended deliveries to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland following changes in the trade agreement between the European Union and the United Kingdom signed on December 24th 2020, and brought into effect as of January 1st 2021.
